Twitchtv JSON API

This is a project I’ve done while doing the freeCodeCamp to get my FCC Front End Certificate.

See the complete challenge specifics at FCC Twitchtv JSON API.

Objective

Build a CodePen.io app that is functionally similar to this demo.

Fulfill the user stories. Use whichever libraries or APIs you need. Give it your own personal style.

User Stories

  1. I can see whether Free Code Camp is currently streaming on Twitch.tv.
  2. I can click the status output and be sent directly to the Free Code Camp’s Twitch.tv channel.
  3. if a Twitch user is currently streaming, I can see additional details about what they are streaming.

CodePen

This is the solution I’ve submitted using Bootstrap, jQuery, and Ajax on CodePen.

See the Pen freeCodeCamp Twitchtv JSON API by Lorenzo (@lorepirri) on CodePen.
